Each item is inspected for damage or irregularities. Since most of our products are pre-owned, they are likely to have some defects and we want you to know it all.
We will describe and, if possible, show pictures of any defects that we find. (Occasionally a hard-to-spot defect may slip past us. By purchasing with us, you agree that your purchase is “as is” and that we will not be liable for any errors in the description.)
How we rate pre-owned products
- Fair – Clothing in fair condition is “very used”. It is wearable but may need a little TLC. (Think new buttons or a repaired hem.) There may be pilling, discoloration, and major signs of wear.
Good – Normal/moderate wear that is noticeable. Loose threads, light discoloration, and/or changes in the fabric.
Great – Mild/gentle wear that is slightly noticeable. (Your friends may not know it was used.)
Mint/Like New – For items that have not been worn and no longer have tags, we say they are “like new”. These items may have been purchased but never worn (we’ve all been there!), or they may have been displayed (and possibly tried on) in a store.
New – Unused items with tags or original packaging.
